Abderdeen Rd School and Grant Rd housing under planning on 4 December

A new primary school at Aberdeen Rd and 67 new housing units at Roman House, 13-27 Grant Road will be the subject of development presentations to the Planning Committee on Thursday 4 December.

Planning applications will be considered for:

  • Birchfield & Spring Bank, Brighton Road, Coulsdon: 15 houses; officers recommend permission.
  • BMW House, 375-401 Brighton Road, South Croydon: food store 42 homes and 105 car parking spaces; officers recommend permission.
  • Galaxy House, 41 Cherry Orchard Road: 9 + 19 storey blocks of 290 flats; officers recommend permission.
  • 31 Selcroft Road, Purley: demolition of existing house; erection of 2 four bedroom detached houses; officers recommend permission
