Scrutiny discusses future of cycling policy and street lighting in Croydon 2 December

Before a new policy framework on cycling in Croydon is finalised there will be a pre-Scrutiny Review by the Streets and Environment Scrutiny Sub-Committee meeting on Tuesday 2 December starting at 7pm at Croydon Town Hall.

In addition to an overview report there are a series of Appendices including extracts from the Council’s 2010 report, a draft strategy, and about the experience in Hackney and the views of the Crystal Palace Transition Town.

Street Lighting Review

The Sub-Committee will also give further consideration to its July review of the Street Lighting PFI contract, and a walkabout in November, and will make recommendations.
