Planning Register Errors
Every so often the information on the Council’s planning register is wrong. For example no documents were posted on a recent application in Norbury. At my request Cllr Maggie Mansell asked for an explanation. Phil Mills, Deputy Team Leader, Planning Technical Support Team, has responded to me: ‘Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Our in house service was showing documents as being online. However, it was incorrect? I’ve now set them to republish tomorrow. Please let me know if they still aren’t appearing.’ So if you spot anything wrong do let him know: 020 8760 5419 or Extension 65419.

Why I have come off Twitter
I have deactivated my Twitter account due to the misuse of Twitter re-tweetings by a small handful of people in Croydon as a tool for shorthand sound bite personal attacks often based on poor or erroneous information, instead of engaging in proper discussion face to face, on the telephone or via email, I have deactivated my Twitter account.
