Purley pool temporarily saved from closure

The Purley Pool is to stay open for the time being after community campaigning forced Croydon Council to re-think.

Watch out for Barnfield Homes

Barnfield Homes are looking for garden land and brownfield sites with residential development potential with or without planning permission in Croydon and areas to the south and west. Its advertisement in the Croydon Guardian of 21 January shows a map highlighting South Norwood, Croydon, Purley, Couldson and Kenley.
