Body Shop to re-locate HQ to Croydon

The Body Shop is relocating 250 HQ staff to Croydon’s office building Knollys House. It will also set up a lab for up to 20 scientists.

Planning Committee imposes another 14 storey tower block

Despite the objections of 700 local residents and an alternative application  from New Life Croydon Church on 17 December the Planning Committee approved yet another 14 storey residential tower block. This time its on the site of Arcadia House, 5 Cairo New Road, to be built by Cairo Properties Ltd.

I have a particular interest in the histories of Battersea and Wandsworth, Croydon and Lambeth. I have a publishing imprint History & Social Action Publications.
