26 September. Deadline for applications for Croydon’s Got Talent

Whether you are a musician, comedian, dancer, actor, or other creative’s – our doors are open… the floor is yours! This is not the typical competition to find winners and losers – but an opportunity for people in and around Croydon to showcase their talent, we believe that all talent should be celebrated. ‘ Heat 2 – 5 November, Heat 3 – 3 December, Final  – 28 January. Email your name, contact number and a further description about your acts with a link if possible to kaysen@puraaura.org.   See  also 1 October.

Free event to exchange ideas on good practice, opportunities for networking and crucially improving local green spaces and parks. This looks like a very useful event for Croydon’s Friends and User Groups of green spaces to attend and get additional ideas for the Council consultation.

This replaces the Council’s Ambition Festival. It is run in collaboration with the NME and grime music promoters Eskimo Dance. The £15 tickets have sold out; only £20 tickets are left.
