Managing Volunteers

As the Council and others urge more people to volunteer there are key issues about how best to manage them. Croydon Voluntary Action is putting on some training sessions.

Principles of Volunteer Management: Thursday 10 November 2016. 9.45am–1pm. The basics of Volunteer Management Good Practice. To book go to:

Volunteer Recruitment: Processes and Safeguards: Thursday 8 December. 9.45am-1pm. The promotion of volunteering vacancies and the recruitment processes you can develop. To book go to:

Supporting and Managing Volunteers: Thursday 19 January.  
9.45am-1pm. Retention of volunteers, helping them reach their goals and monitoring their impact on the organisation. To book go to:

Legal Aspects of Involving Volunteers and Volunteer Policy Training will follow in the new year.
