Croydon Communities Consortium public meet, St Michael and All Angels with St James Church Hall, Poplar Walk

London Sustainability Exchange (LSx) is running a project supporting community groups to measure air pollution across London and are looking for groups in Croydon who might be interested in understanding and tackling the challenge in their area.

Through this project, LSx offers to support community groups to measure pollution in their area and make action plans to bring about change. There is no charge for involvement in the project.

Why not come along, meet others, find out more about the project and how to get involved?

Doors open at 7pm for registration and light refreshments with local information on display for you to take away.

The meeting will start around 7.20pm and close by 9pm.

It helps the organisers if you book in advance.

I give history talks and lead history walks. I retired in 2012 having worked in the community/voluntary sector and on heritage projects. My history interests include labour movement, mutuality, Black British, slavery & abolition, Edwardian roller skating and the social and political use of music and song. I have a particular interest in the histories of Battersea and Wandsworth, Croydon and Lambeth. I have a publishing imprint History & Social Action Publications.
