Local Plan Modifications

The Council has now published a full list of proposed modifications to the Local Pan since the submission of the draft Plan was submitted for Examination by the Planning Inspector. The document is numbered  LBC-PR-070 on the Local Plan Examination documents webspage at

Additional submissions on the same page  by the Council are:

062 – three documents relating to an agreement with Croydon College on a proposed school site which includes the projections of secondary school, needs.

063 – demand and concentration of Houses in Multiple Occupation showing maps of where they are concentrated.

064 – explanation of putting policy exceptions into the Plan

065 – proposed amendment to building heights in Thornton Heath

066 – Response to Inspector’s question on Intensification Areas proposing deletion of Brighton Rd (Sanderstead Rd) and  Forestdale and Sanderstead Lane Centre

067   Statement that 2013 Gypsy and traveller assessment is correct

068 – Agreement of common ground with Hyde Housing Association on a site

069 – Preliminary ecological report son land at Kent  Gate Way and Shirley Allotments & Leisure Gdns

071 – Statement of common ground with UBS Global Asset Management re-properties in Cherry Orchard Rd.

The Council has not yet completed the documents it agreed to submit. It is hoped that further ones will be posted on the website during the coming week.

Since moving to Norbury in July 2011 I have been active on local economy, housing and environment issues with Croydon TUC and Croydon Assembly.
