Bring me the head of Jeremy Corbyn

‘Bring me the head of Jeremy Corbyn’ is Wandsworth artist Philippa Egerton’s latest cake head on display at her new exhibition.

Egerton

Ann and I have known Philippa for over 40 years,

Her cake head events are great fun. Many of the past ones have involved the cakes being cut up and slices handed to those who attend. There are no plans at the moment to cut the Corbyn cake.

Previous cake heads have included:

2011 – Saddiq Khan – then Tooting MP who cut the cake; Ed Miliband and Colonel Gaddafi (raffled)

2012 – The Queen, cut by the actor Alan Armstrong

2013 – David Cameron and Nick Clegg; President Bashar al – Assad

2014 – Nigel Farage, cut by Labour Lord Fred Ponsonby

2015 – Nicola Sturgeon

2017 – Donald Trump

2018 – Charlotte Despard which is on display at the Venue in Battersea Park Lane
