Monday 2 March. Council Budget Setting meeting 6.30pm

The Council plans to increase Council tax by  1.99% for Croydon Services,  2% for Adult Social Care plus the 3.6% increase if the precept for the Mayor of London, all allowed within Government limits.

Monday 2 March. 8.45pm. Extraordinary Meeting of the Council about Westfield

Tuesday 3 March. 6.30pm Scrutiny Children & Young People Sub Committee

It will review the latest position with improvements to child services and for care leavers, and question the Cabinet member Alisa Fleming.

My history interests include labour movement, mutuality, Black British, slavery & abolition, Edwardian roller skating and the social and political use of music and song.
