Closure of St Helier’s and Epsom Hospitals

The Government has not put a stop to the plans to close St Helier  and Epsom Hospitals. There has been concern about how this will impact on Croydon University and St. George’s Hospitals.  Sandra Ash for the KOSHH Campaign says she is in the process of starting a petition to Government on the subject, but would like continued support for its current petition at

The formal Consultation on the plans to downgrade the two acute hospitals is 1 April. Sandra is recommending that people read:

Even small amounts of money can help

While you are stuck at home do you want to spend time clearing items out. If so then you can offer them to We Buy Books which is maintaining a purchasing service for books, CDs, etc. Its Hermes pick up service will collect from your front door. While the prices offered are low its worth checking it out, and the books should be in good condition. I sold several books to them last year.
